NEW DAY

...I am BLessed...

Neway just wanna share bits bout what happened last weekend...The day that i stopped updating my daily journal was the day i was having real bad time... Maybe plus the tension accumulated ... but thank GOD for his wisdom that He gave me to finish up my case report.. Thank GOD he brought me out of the valley of darkness....AMEN..and now I am restored...

Yesterday I had my dermatology exam...thank GOD for his grace and mercy and favour..... AND THANK GOD we did not have neurology test...phew...cuz i paid too much attention on my derma exam...phewwwwww.......
Got to wait for Maksim ..he fell sick...aih... And i felt the dumbest moment when we joined class with Prof Luiza...She made us felt so stupid..cuz we did not prepare any thing...and honestly we did not learn much from MAKSIM...ARGH!! MUST really really sutdy.... Prof LUIZA was really good the way she teach ,i really salute her for her brains....NEUROLOGIST MAN...dont play play...

Snow Storm

...SNOW AGAIN?......

On the way back from Neurology class,the weather in Moscow worsen...SNOWING....at first it started with small drops of snow...like partially icy and partially watery..then it suddenly became so big and solid snow....and the wind was blowing so strong...:(

PRACTICAL DAY

...group 13...

WOW what can i say bout today's class....hmmm....
I always find obstetric class very interesting...really.........super fun and relaxing.. (it's not because the subject is easy...its tough btw...just that it depends on how you handle it and which hospital you're in...wanna know why its super fun and relaxing....)

LET me show you what we did...
Our teacher is ELENA...She's nice and a very friendly teacher..
Even though we know little bout obs when she questioned us...she never scold us but indeed she teaches us...cuz we forgotten all the last sem topics ad....i guess all of us needs GINKO....


At first we were brought into a gynecologist practical room cuz the other rooms are occupied by the russian students...


Elena refreshed us with labour topic...
How to deliver babies in cephalic presentation which is divided into the occipital,anterior(vertex),brow(frontal),and face(mentum) presentations depending whether the occiput,the vertex,brow or face is presenting...
If it's occiput the occipital anterior this are the steps:
1)internal flexion of the baby(sagital suture -transverse pelvic diameter) 2)internal rotation(sagital suture is aligned with anteroposterior pelvic diameter)
3)external extension
4)external rotation(shoulder)


Then we learned all the gynecology instrument: curetter,speculum,intrauterine contraceptive,dilatator of cervix used in abortion process,uterus stick measurement...etc...

Then we sempat posing while teacher was away to answer phone calls....
After that we learned how Leopold manoeuvres: theres four manoeuvre....(check in the book la)
This palpation of abdomen is to identify seperate parts of foetus,position is the uterus(the presenting part,foetus position with respect to the pelvic planes...)

Next we learn how to identify the occipital presentation of the foetus through vagina examination...fontanel posterior...we have to feel with our two fingers stuck into the vagina...haha..hey it's not easy ....you have to really concentrate and feel it properly... btw fontanel posterior is with the three angles...and the fontanel anterior is with four angles...

After that we learned how to deliver breech presentation foetus...

But my teacher advised that it should be delivered by Ceserean due to several complication...its DANGEROUS...!!

Then we learned how to check cervix dilatation...measuring the lenghth ofthe cervix neck... With two fingers and instrumental...(speculum,or retractor...)

When teacher went out a while..we started playing with the boobies...haha....its a moulage of breast cancer ...with different location and sizes of the cancerous cell...it might be differentiated into cysts(benign) and malignant... (joanne was pinching the boobies...)

Then when class ended..we went for ROSTIK... yummy...

CELL GROUP

FUN FUN more FUN!

As usual every Saturday 7pm our cell group under leadership of VG and Ailin meet up at block 709..:)

Everyone will wonder what we usualy do leh? Hmmm... Here let me share bits of the most happening atmosphere you'll experienced if you visit our cell group:)

We started with games...as usual its like ice breaker thingy but as you guys know we are not a stranger among ourselves but it's to break the stagnant atmosphere when we gather together...:) It's like a warm up thingy:) to get everyone energized and boost up..


Wee Gee was the game master...:) hehe OMG! her game was simple but got us thinking so hard!
Everyone is given a piece of paper,and Vg started with her short hypnotising (ala ala la...) bout YOU stranded in an island and We are supposed to imagine who we wanna bring along and who we do not want to bring...:(



We are supposed to list down three names (anyone...eg:superman,mum,obama etc) Three names you want to bring and three names you dont want to bring.. And at the end ..we are supposed to tell aloud to everyone...one by one...


And Shaun had the funniest moment....he said he'll bring superman,osama and sadam hussein... And somebody said why bring terrorist...SHAUN said oOO...cuz superman will kill them for me...and the will be gone...! NEGEHHEHGHEHGE I was so sad that day...DEPRESSED!!! My name was mentioned three times among my friends ... AND ITS UNDER THE LIST OF PEOPLE YOU DONT WANT TO BRING!!!(ME KECIL HATI!)JK!


And after that we started our praise and worship:)
IT was AWESOME!Esther worship lead that day...THE ATMOSPHeRE was PANAS!!

Then VG share bout GOD's words....THE BIBLE:)POWERFUL....YOUR LIFE WILL BE CHANGED!!

THEN...Ailin shared bout tithing and offering..it was inspiring...:) she talked bout NOAH who trusted GOD so much when GOD told him to build an arc to prepare for the big flood...even though there's so many obstacles and etc...read the bible:P Noah's faith on GOD remains faithful! So we shouldn't be worried or scared to give cuz when you give your best part...GOD will open the flood gates of heaven and overpouring blessings will flow unto you:) really!I've experienced it all my life...HAVE FAITH!just like NOAH!


After that.....as you guys will surely know what's next.... FOOD!!!!
Malaysians...love food..we had great time listening to Xiao Tian's story:) SHE's one great story teller...:)champion!!

Beautiful Sunday morning

With a big SMILE~!

Every Sunday I usually follow Esther to church.But today with my bad habit i turn off my alarm and continued sleeping thinking of extra 15mins sleep wouldn't do any harm...and i thought i can get up in 15 mins time spontaneously..how smart...! Then....i heard Tze Fen calling me...Jayne...it's 9.30am already...I like boOM!
I jumped out of my bed..(really wan no kidding)...then quickly wake wee gee up...and rush straight into the bathroom..brush my teeth...etc..

Then Esther called..o no...haha...thank GOD whe wasn't mad with me at all:) SORRY Esther..:)

SO I went to church by myself...today without Esther...and vg too..she had headache:(
Got my coat on..and again it was so dumb of me wearing coat ....cuz today is freezing cold..!!

Really nice day...sunny!!! As usual before i leave the hostel i asked GOD to station angels before me...to be my bodyguard.. SO i walked through the park...and i stopped by a while... KNOW WHY????
tada....i saw this two dogs playing so happily...so I took a out a camera and took pics of them...



What a beautiful day..:) GOD is with me all day long....wow!!!
Then the master asked me...why are you taking pics of my dog.. I like....cuz i love dogs...! Then the two lovely old couples smiled...! hehe

Then I headed to Spartiv metro... Got down at metro Preobrazhenksaya...

Then when i was walking towards the bus stop i saw the first bus had just left...and the second bus just arrived...haha in my heart i smiled! HEHE thank GOD...u got me a bus right after i came out of the metro...again GOD is so good!!
Then i quickly run after the bus and hop in.. After i got up then my conscience tells me...am I on the right bus..so I prayed!
Everything was fine...enjoying the ride... Then after a while..i found that this bus is not heading straight to my destination..it turned! I like oops! But I wasn't afraid... Guess what there's a girl on the same bus..at first i thought she's an Indian from India..but i got up from my sit and talked to her..she is good in Russian so she asked the babushka if the bus would stop at the back of the building..ya it will!

Thank GOD... Guess what her name is Esther...ahahha See...even though i couldnt go with my senior Esther i came to church with junior Esther..:) From then on we started chit chatting till the end of the whole sevice...!
ops....i tried listening to Ps John...but i was too sleepy.. Then i introduced her to Tjen and Samuel..
Just wanna share something funny...
Samuel told Esther...you have very nice teeth..so white....(this was his first sentence to her..OMG!)

then we burst in laughter...

On my way back to my hostel,i dropped by to buy my favourite kartoshka(baked potato) It was so small..but yummy..toppings:bakon and crab meat It tastes good:) But not enough for me...

...New Born liFE....

Just wanna share a short story about my obstetric class...As usual we always get to see baby brought into this world....hehe so fun right..."always"
Not my first time..but it always take my breath away each time when we have the opportunity to see....

We get to see a beautiful delivery today...
SO beautiful....
AmaZing.....
The mother undergo Cesarean (C-sec)...
Due to the large size of the fetus....and her underlying complications...
Nephritis,cysts...

At first we were bored looking at C-sec procedure...cuz it's not something new to us...
But this case was different...unusual...
hehehe..
UNIQUE...
The doctors wrestled to get the baby out for quite some time...
The baby was a HUGE baby..not that huge la...just BIG...too big for natural birth..tak muat to keluar the normal door..so got to get out from the renovated way...haha

THen....UwaKKKK!!!!
AWWWWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!







Baby is out!!!!

Can you imagine....after 9 months of pregnant..it's not easy man.....
Child bearing is one beautiful thing....
GOD is so UNIQUE and MARVELOUS laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...>!!!!

Baby was 3.97kg....heavy or not....?
hehe sure heavy la

Then she was brough to be examined and cleaned and then wrapped like a cutey little pie dolly....
SO ADORABLE..>!!!
O ya...the baby is a female...
SO pretty sweet and charming...
Her eyes barely open...and her skin is so pinky..healthy baby
Flawless...like a little angel from heaven...


Everyone's jaw drop...looking at her as if like you've never seen a baby before...
So beautiful...


Then everyone started taking pics of her...ehehe.


Then...the next baby is brought to this world...by natural birth...hehe
TO Shaun it was his first time experience seeing natural birth..
This baby was small...3.36 kg...
It's a boy...





Just wanna share a short scenario that got us laughing...


mother(screaming like she never given birth before)
for your information ...it was her second child bearing...

Mother: what am i doing here...i dowan to continue pushing...i cant icant...no no no...!!!

Doctor:DAVAI DAVAI....dont quit..what are you talking..you're here to push your baby out...

After few strong pushes...tadda......
BABY IS OUT!!!

AaaaWWwwww!big smile....

Mother:why is my baby so blue...

That was her first word utter out when she saw her baby....
OMGGGGG....!
WE giggled!

Then my group mates said...yer...this baby not cute...so fugly ....comparing to the first baby..ahhaha....
One of them said...eww mouth so big...later big like Kelvin's mouth...so bad.!
AHAHHA
Why so hairy...why so blue..why so small...so many complains...



EVERY BABY is CUTE...
Fearfully and wonderfully made in GOD's creation...hehehe
UNIQUE!

but some OLD FOLKS saying that..if you were ugly when you're young...you'll grow into SWAN when you're older....


Babies brings joy and laughter into everyone's heart and especially to their mothers....so beautifull
Looking at the baby being brought into the mother's arms....SMILING and it got our heart melted....

BuT!
As we were preparing to go back ...our teacher called us to the delivery room..
At first i taught she was showing the removed placenta....
TO MY AWE...guess what i saw.....
A 4 months old fetus.....
MY heart dropped!!!
It was put into a black plastic bag...(the one we used to throw rubbish)
The fetus is perfect with legs,toes,arms,fingers.....no deformities at all...
It's so sad knowing that the placenta ruptured that's why it killed the fetus...
It was an in vitro baby.....
INVISIBLE TEARS rolling...grieved felt around us...on behalf of the fetus mum...
CAN you imagine...after trying so hard so long...to get a baby..and when a hope is planted into your life suddenly ripped off.....what will you feel....

BUT remember our GOD is a GOD of love and mercy...
I believed there's a better plan for the mother...:)

Later on I asked my teacher...so where would this fetus corpse end up?
At first i heard it's gonna go into the rubbish bin...
THANK GOD...its not la..of course....
It's gonna be sent for autopsy...
TO investigate the cause...so that this can be avoided....:)

BUT praise GOD always in all times...
I thank GOD for HIS grace and mercy through our times of grieving...

Dinner

....Hungry....

day 1(Tuesday)...
I decided to post bout what i ate lately..but i guessed this interest in blogging will fade away by next week...now still have the passion...see la ppl.. This is what i cook when i cook for myself...but its kinda fun eating on your own...u can cook any time...watch youtube ..KEVJUMBA...even blogg...no its hard to blog while eating... Im those type will concentrate on my food ...:) Here's what i cook...just simple dishes...but in big quantity...haha with quality too ok even though its simple.... Herbal soup( YOK CHOI TONG)...if you're studying abroad remember to bring chinese herbs from Malaysia..its really practical..easy when you're lazy like me to cook ur dinner... Just dump in the herbs and chicken and boiled water,i mean right from the hot kettle...it will safe some time waiting for the soup to boil.. Rice......two cups lately...for one meal..i must be crazy..i got to cut down...today when i put on my shirt which i found it deep inside my cuboard...to my awweee.....its so ketat ad !especially the shoulder and arms part....shiTTtt...you knw what i meant...BUTTT...that's still a must..so bring a rice cooker with you..remember...and two eggs... See so pathetic right...so kesian..




Day 2(wednesday)
I cooked fried tomato egg....(vg's original recipe) the easiest...she introduced it to me during our pre med year..so funny..i taught she was kidding... Fried black sauce chicken..which looked like chicken hangus...actually its not hangus...i poured too much black sauce on to it...hahaha...excuses..advice: dont cook fried stuff with black sauce...shud add flour..cuz if with black sauce only the oil will splash on u...everywhere..and my hands look like kena hyperpigmentation disease...haha.. I'm too lazy...whatever will do...as long it fills my stomach...:P O ya..not forgetting rice...ive reduced to 1 1/2 cup of rice..good leh...
